Exam Prayer Diary 2017

EXAMS ARE NOT FUN.  They are some of the most stress-inducing and stomach-churning appointments that teens & young adults will ever face, especially when university places and career prospects seem on the line.

As a church family, we want to make sure that our young people do not face this exam season alone but have a strong network of support around them from their first exam to results day, and beyond. Therefore, we invited every young person to send us their examination timetable so that their leaders, their peers, and their entire church family can be aware of who is sitting what exams, and when. This information has been compiled into this prayer booklet.

With this information, we invite you to support our young people over the next two months as they sit their exams. Here are some ways you can show your support…

  • PRAY. Above all else, we are asking you to pray for them. Pray generally for them all as they revise. Pray specifically for those sitting exams on each individual day.
  • CONTACT. Get in touch via text, email, Facebook (or even an old-school ‘pen and paper’ letter) with messages of support and encouragement. You will brighten their day during study leave!
  • PARENTS. Exam time can be just as stressful for parents as it is for young people. Make every effort to support and encourage parents of young people sitting big exams.

Thank you so much for prayerfully supporting our young people!

(Please note that not all the young people submitted their exam timetable so there will be those sitting exams whose names do not appear in this booklet. However, God knows exactly who they are so please pray for them, also.)
